North Oaks Heart for Children was born from a shared desire to make a meaningful difference for kids and families facing childhood cancer. A group of long-time, dedicated volunteers from North Oaks and the surrounding community came together to support Children’s Cancer Research at Children’s Minnesota, and our organization grew from that collective heart for service.
We host engaging fundraising events that bring our community together while supporting vital research and care. Our inaugural Dinner & Casino Night was held at the North Oaks Golf Club, and we are thrilled to continue this tradition. Our next Casino Night is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026, once again at the North Oaks Golf Club. All are welcome, and more details will be shared as the event approaches.
We are currently gearing up for our signature art fundraiser, Art with Heart, taking place March 27–28, 2026, at the North Oaks Golf Club. This two-day art show features a wide range of artwork created by talented and well-known artists from the Twin Cities area, with pieces available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from art sales directly supports Children’s Cancer Research at Children’s Minnesota.
The event will also include a silent auction featuring artwork donated by participating artists, along with special pieces inspired by children during their hospital stays. The children’s art will be auctioned off with the artist’s renderings.
We are incredibly proud of the community that continues to support our mission and honored to contribute to the important work happening at Children’s Minnesota.
